The sales process

So how does the process work? Let's walk through it:

1. Using our marketing, sales materials, and operating systems, you promote the Archadeck brand in your territory. Prospects call you. On the phone, you ask specific questions to find out whether a caller is a possible Archadeck customer. If yes, you arrange to visit his or her home.

2. On your first call with a homeowner, you gather information on the customer's needs, wishes, and budget. Archadeck separates itself from the competition by the care we take in matching a project to the customer's lifestyle. We'll teach you how to use skilled, perceptive questions to find out what type of deck will truly complement and enhance the customer's use of his or her home.

3. You let the customer think over the answers and look at pictures of possible decks while you take measurements of the site.

4. You return to the office and prepare two potential designs for the project.

5. On your second call, you use Dovetail, our eye-catching proprietary CAD program, to help your customer visualize the new deck or other project. The customer chooses a design, perhaps asking for some final modifications to make it perfect. You have him or her sign a contract.

6. You send the final design to the Archadeck Drafting Department in Richmond. We turn it into a detailed construction plan and send it back. You use the plan to get a building permit and pass it on to your carpentry crew.

7. When the deck is finished, you collect the balance due and give your customer a written Archadeck warranty and a Certificate of Guaranty from the National Guaranty Corporation.
